Loch Tay, Kenmore

On 23rd October Friday morning we needed to wake up very early because near the building 2 big buses were waiting us to go to Kenmore. All the week before it was rainy, fortunately on Friday the weather was better, it was not very warm, because weather changed many times, however we could feel the energy of sun. Our site visit we started with visiting Crannogs centre. It was very interesting to see such building, we also got information about its history and how people lived there. After we moved to the site, when we arrived I saw a piece of land, there we must project building for 3 people. It is really amazing place for living, because of the views around the site. It is surrounded by mountains, which make this place king of magical and inspiring.
We needed to take photos, records and also sketches, which will help us during our project, it was amazing to so how everybody were inspired about the place and wanted to learn more about this. We also made trip around the site to learn more about surrounding buildings, vegetation and materials used.
It was I great trip, I enjoyed it very much. It was very interesting for me to see rural areas of Scotland, because they are really different from Latvia, so it was fascinating to compare its.
I hope that during studies we will have such trips, which will help me to learn more about Scotland and will make my living here more exicing!
